We really had no complaints about him, other than his shedding, he sheds SOO much! He has AWESOME house manners, we were able to leave him home for 3-4 hours alone in the house and he would be fine. I love seeing him, but seeing him happily go home and not turn his head when I leave, lets me know that he loves his home and is well taken care of.
I know Ryder is not allowed on the bed, but while I was downstairs making cookies I let them both have freedom, and I came upstairs to find them both laying on the bed. After I took the phone I made Ryder get off.

Ryder seems a lot like his sister Royalty. I was puppy sitting her once and I had a head ache so I laid down on the couch. A second later Royalty was on the couch with me cuddling. :) She's so sweet.
I just realized that you raised DeSoto and he's a Belle pup. Freya was also a Belle pup. :)
The three photos of Ryder and Focus make them look like mirror images! It's funny how they're doing the same thing. How great that you got to watch Focus and see what a good boy he has turned out to be. I hope you feel good about your decision with him.
Erin-Yes I think all the 'R" litter babies are very sweet. Ryder is the sweetest boy and only wants to please.
Yes I did raise DeSoto as my first pup!! I think Belle pups are all very awesome pups and she has had really good graduate rates.
Mimi-I still feel very good about my decision about not keeping him as it is a lot of work to have 4 dogs in my house. But if Ryder does get CC there is no question about it, I will be adopting him!
It sounds like everything worked out really well with Focus. It must be great to be able to visit with him every now and then, and see how happy he is! Don (a Bosworth pup) is very similar to Focus- they look identical and seem to have the same temperament too :) I love how similar Ryder and Focus look. I can't even tell them apart!

Belle puppies are great! Belle had another litter just at the time I was getting a new puppy. But we decided to take an older puppy (Rocco was almost 12 weeks old when I got him) instead of a young pup. But I went to the puppy truck on the original date that I was supposed to get my puppy and all the Belle pups were on the truck. :( Oh well, I love Rocco.
