A New Year

This last year, has overall been great! I new puppy, experience a career change and watch Ryder Grow! We had a great Christmas Break, lots of shopping and fun outings! Ryder handled them all very well even Cabela`s and Scheel`s!

Also, GDB just sent out and e-mail saying that Feb. 1, 2010 all puppies leaving campus will be on Purina Pro Plan! I am very happy they changed foods because Focus and Ryder bot got diarrhea the first week I had them on Science Diet, so ever since they were both 9 weeks old them have been on Pro Plan! I already removed the Science Diet Patch on Ryder's vest, very easy to do!

Besides going shopping, we have been hanging out at home. We did go bowling over break and Ryder did great! Now we are back in school and he has adjusted well to getting up at the crack of dawn and sleeping all though school and overall just being a good boy!
Ryder is a sleigh up at an outdoor mall!

Ryder was not sure about this dog in Cabela's, he had to smell it for a while then finally decided all was well.

P.S. I talked to Focus' owner last night and he said they have had their issues but overall he is adjusting well and Rob just loves him! I have a picture on my phone so hopefully I will be able to post that soon. I can`t wait to go visit in a few weeks and give Rob the adoption papers!

Interesting about the Science Diet. When we got Wally, he came with a 5 lb bag and a partly used 40 lb bag of the SD Lamb and Rice, which we used til it was gone. After that we went to the Purina, just like everyone else. After about 2 weeks, Wally was constantly itching and scratching at himself. He was checked for conditions that could cause this, to no avail. Finally after a couple of months of constant itching and scratching, we switched back to the SD Lamb and Rice. A month later.....no more itching and scratching.
Funny how it works sometimes.
