Update
Lets start with this weekend Saturday we went to Lowe`s DeSoto walked perfectly. I was really impressed because he does not like to walk ANYWHERE, so that was nice to have him walk in a store for once! Then Sunday was my Sisters birthday party at Wild Island. We drove the go carts (DeSoto stayed with my mom and watched). Then we went to the mini golf and DeSoto thought it would be fun to chase all the leaves. He did really good when I would put him on a down stay while I was golfing, and for the most part he did stay. Monday we went to Applebee`s for her birthday dinner and DeSoto did great just laid on the ground and slept which I did`t think he would do because he was asleep for an hour before we went. This week my mom is taking him to work with her because he is better at walking for her then he is for me. So she is taking him places and making him WALK! Well more later!

If Desoto is afraid or overwhelmed out in public that could cause him to not want to walk. If you force him he can and probably will become even more fearfull of being in public. Just be really carefull forcing him when he is clearly not comfortable with the situations.
As far as I can see, Desoto isn't afraid or fearful at all. Don't worry Katlynn is working with our leaders, some pups just have a very low energy level and are unmotivated.
Glad he is doing good. And I agree, no fear, just low energy, and no modivation. Suede was/is like that too.
Thats good! I was just worried because Hobbs didn't want to walk in public for a while and I finally realised it was because he was scared to death! Poor boy! So we took it super easy for a while. If he is un motivated maybe some goofy jumping jacks from mom would be exciting for him! lol just kidding!
