Quick Puppy Swap

Kelsey and i switched dogs on Monday. I was going to have Spike for the week and Kelsey have DeSoto for the week. Spike was great. A little different form DeSoto but they are all different. Sorry the pictures of Spike are not that great, my camera was being weird. Mr. Spike chillin in the house.
Some of you may be asking why is DeSoto in this post?? Well, it turns out that Kelsey injured herself on Tuesday sometime and she called me today and wanted to switch back. So it was a short puppy trade but it was fun and I enjoyed Spike very much.

Bowling & Promised Pictures

DeSoto turned 9 months on Thursday. My baby boy is growing up to fast! He has come so far since the day I got him, I am so proud of him. On Saturday my family and I went bowling. This was DeSoto`s first time. I was kinda worried of how he would react to the noises, but he could have cared less. So that pleased me very much. The other pictures of DeSoto are at my Grandma`s house and just some cute pictures. My Grandma has a big fenced backyard that we let all 3 dogs run. They have a fun time. DeSoto is getting neutered Tuesday. I am happy about that! Today I think we are just going to hang around.

Almost 9 Months, Yikes!

It is hard to believe that DeSoto is almost 9 months, seems like just yesturday I got him. I am sure you all have been wondering what DeSoto has been up so...

Spring Break for us was pretty boring, went to a few stores and some walks. Than school started and of course he was great as always. We had a puppy meeting at the capital gounds and then walked along Carson Street. DeSoto did great with all the traffic, noises, people, etc.. We than took a quick trip through the Nugget, all the dogs were great. On the 2nd my cousins came folrm Colorado to visit, they got to meet DeSoto for the first time. Since I had two sleepovers planned for last weekend I decided that DeSoto should go to a puppysitter. Taylor was more than happy to have him for the weekend. From what I heard, DeSoto was great, no problems, and dthey just loved having him. So that report made me happy. This Thursday my praents are going to Vegas, I still have not decided if I am going, we shall see. Tomorrow is Band Festival. For those of you that do not know what band festival is, it is basically we go up to UNR and play 3 or so tunes and we get judged. DeSoto is coming along with me, he will be staying with Dana (another raiser in our club) while I perform. I think this will be a grat experience for him because after we are done performing my band and I are going to watch others perform. Also, we get to go to Meadowood Mall after and eat lunch and hang out. I am really looking fowrad to that and having DeSoto there also.

On a second note I got DeSoto`s Neuter letter in the mail, so he has a appointment for Tuesday the 15! Yeah! Sorry no pictures maybe tomorrow or the next day!

Easter Fun!

First off, I would like to say Happy Easter to everyone! As you can see the Easter Bunny was very nice to DeSoto and I. I got tons of chocolate, and DeSoto it happy with a nyla ring. Most of the day I was dirt biking and DeSoto was at home chillin with my mom. Overall we had a great day, and got to end it with an egg hunt. "I found an egg!"

What Has DeSoto Been Doing?

DeSoto has been up to nothing this week, just helping me contain my excitement for Spring Break. It is finally here!! Anyway DeSoto has been going to school, daily walks, and just being a dog. Now that Spring Break is here I decided I would give DeSoto a bath. He did not love the bath, but he did not freak out either. To celebrate that Spring Break is here, we walked to Starbucks after school on Friday and enjoyed a frappachino. I will most likely most tomorrow so you can see DeSoto and all the Easter Eggs, but we will see. So here are some pictures of my 8 month old.

Outing to Meadowood Mall & Downtown Reno

Today are club had a outing in Reno. We had to meet at Meadowood, in order to ride the bus to downtown. DeSoto did wonderful on the bus, I was very pleased. In fact, all the dogs in our club were great! While in downtown we walked along the river, walked through some casinos, and just enjoyed being outdoors. Luckily this year it did not rain on us. After we were done in Reno, we rode the bus back to Meadowood Mall. We walked around the mall, ate lunch in the food court, and than headed back to Carson City. It`s Been A Long Time!!

DeSoto has taken up my state quarter collection, and finds it very fun to go shopping and find a new quarter to add to his collection,

So over the past few weeks DeSoto and I have been doing 1-2 mile walks everyday, which really helps him relax in the house. I think it has been so long that you guys did not even know DeSoto was gone for 5 days. DeSoto went with Emily and from what I herd he was not as well behaved at the High School as I would have expected him to be. Also his house manners were not the best and I knew that so I have been working extremely hard on that with him. It is coming along he can now relax in the same room as my dogs and not go crazy, which is an improvement! Last week was pretty boring school, walks, grocery shopping, and club meetings. I am really looking to are meeting in downtown Reno this Saturday. I think it will be a great experience for DeSoto and all the other dogs in our club. So check back this weekend for pictures and a report on how well DeSoto did! Oh I forgot to mention that DeSoto is now 8 months old. It`s amazing how time flies!

That was about it for last week. This week he will be going to Emily`s house because he needs to be traded and Emily is puppyless and I thought she might like to have *Crash* again. Anyway that will be nice to be puppyless for a few days.
