Snow

DeSoto loves the snow and I was finally able to get a video if him! Saturday he went shopping mostly all day then got to end the day by going to a movie. My mom and I went to see The Bucket List. DeSoto was great and was happy to sleep. So here are some pictures of him and a video!

Birthday Fun & Pictures

Some of you may have known it was my Birthday Wednesday. I had a party and we got to learn how to properly use makeup. So I am now aloud to wear eye shadow and lip gloss. DeSoto was great just watching. I am sure he was very bored watching us all put makeup on, but he delt with it! I got some really cool gifts some including: digital camera which I have been wanting, gift cards/money, makeup, clothes & other cool things. Now for a little update DeSoto has been going to school and doing great! He loves walks now his favorite is up in the hills! I can`t remember really going places worth mentioning. Velma was a dog raised in our club by Amber (with Pantera) so good job Velma! Torres & Vallejo are getting to the hard stuff but I am sure they will do great. Cory made her way down to San Rafel. Glad they found her though! She was a dog that went back with our CFR.

Adventures

Since EVMS got out a 11:15 on Friday we decided to go check out the extreme makeover in stagecoach. DeSoto was not aloud to go so, he got to go home with Andrew for a couple of hours. So that was a good experience for him because he got to ride the bus home a meet a little dog that is smaller than him. From what Andrew said DeSoto liked Roxy and had to problems on the bus. The extreme makeover was so much fun we got to see the family get out of the limo and see the house. We were out there for about 4 hours just waiting for the family to even get there. I think they are going to have some issues in stagecoach because you know stagecoach it is mostly trailer homes and then there is this beautiful house. So we will see what happens. That is about it besides freezing for 4 houses. Now back to DeSoto he went to school all week he was great as always! Here are some pictures of my big 6 month old! Oh and if anyone knows where I can buy I leather leash please let my know! DeSoto decided to chew some of it in class this week!

Update

Sorry about the long time between posts! Let`s start with last week. Monday there was school what a bummer but oh well, Desoto went and was great. He has now got the approval to go to school whenever so that is nice. We also went up to Cabels`s again. That is such a neat store for puppies I think because of all the exhibits they have! We had a puppy meeting on Monday, which we introduced the dogs the Rally-O. I have herd about is because my mom started doing it with Dietrich but then found out she did not have the time. I thought DeSoto did great, he did a few of the obstacles off leash but then got distracted. That is pretty much it for last week. Today DeSoto went to school and decided is 1 period his leash needed to be trimmed so he took matters into his own hands and did it him self. Which I thought he was chewing on his bone, so that means I just have to pay more attention to him in class. Lets just say I was not happy when I found out what happened! Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year!! I am not looking forward to school and I don`t think DeSoto is either. Since we got lots of gift cards and money for Christmas we went shopping. DeSoto was well behaved. He is also quite a walker these days. He is quite a hiker we take him and the Shepherds and he is a champ and walks the 2 miles no problem. I am so happy he finally decided walking is not half bad! Break has been pretty boring for DeSoto and I. So there is not much really to post. So until school starts my blog will be pretty boring. DeSoto and this cool statue at the Summit Mall. I was bummed the water fall was not working (but it is winter duh)!
DeSoto loves the snow he likes to eat it! I wanted to get a video clip of him running around the yard but every time I got the camera out he would stop and stare at me. I will try to get it sometime!
My big 5 month old! It is so hard to believe that he is almost 6 months old! He will be getting neutered in January so that will be nice.

Cabela`s

Well today my family & I went to Cabela`s because my sister got a gift card for Christmas to there. It was really crowded so I managed to get a few pictures. I was a really neat experience for DeSoto because he thought all the animals were real and kept eyeing them. After Cabela`s we headed down to the Summit Mall. DeSoto is a awesome walker these days and will be ready to go to High School with Emily or Kelsey soon! We had a great Christmas. DeSoto got some new bones & toys. I got some cute pictures of him with rapping paper all over him but I can`t find that memory card right now. So next post!

Christmas is Finally Close!!!

This weekend we went and saw Alvin & the Chipmunks it was a good movie. DeSoto was well behaved for the most part. When I got home I noticed something on DeSoto`s hip so I checked it out and it was gum! Thankfully is was not that much. I had to cut it out and DeSoto did not want it gone because he liked sitting there and licking. Maybe that is why he was better in the movies than usually! Ha Ha! Monday he went to school with me and that night we had our Christmas Desserts & Scrapbooking Class! I got one page down for DeSoto`s book that night but I was in a rush so it is not as nice as the others, but oh well. Good job Kelsey and Emily they did a great job putting it all together. This week has been pretty boring but I cannot wait till Christmas! It turns out we are not going to my Aunts house in California because she got really sick, so that is a bummer. But the good part is I get to spend Christmas with all my puppies! Since tomorrow we are not going to be doing much in school my mom is thinking about taking me out of school so we can go sledding! So I am happy about that!

The Holiday Season is Here!

So tonight we put up our Christmas Tree and decorated it. I was very pleased with DeSoto because he did not try and lunge at all the ornaments and lights on the tree. I can`t believe Christmas is less than two weeks away and we only have 7 more days of school until break. Wahoo!! It is hard to believe that DeSoto is already 5 months it seems like just yesterday I was driving down to Guide Dogs to pick him up. Now for a quick update DeSoto is allowed to go to school again. I am starting him out with 2-3 days a school a week for a while than we will work for all week. This weekend has been pretty boring for the most part. Saturday we went shopping at Kohl's for Christmas Presents and to just look. Sunday we went Christmas Tree cutting. Monday was DeSoto`s first day back to school after several months of being with my mom which I think helped! When DeSoto went with Dana DeSoto played with her dog Bear and I guess Bear got mad and left a little puncture in his mouth. So Claudia said we should take him to the vet to be safe, so that is what we did. Tuesday is when my mom took him in and they said if it does not heal in a week or so they are going to put him under and pop it. So he is on some medication right now. They said it is like a pimple. Today and tomorrow he is going to school. I am not planning on taking him Friday because it is our schools " Dress To Impress Dance" I am not planning on dressing up, well I am if you call jeans and a shirt dressed up.
