Cabela`s

Well today my family & I went to Cabela`s because my sister got a gift card for Christmas to there. It was really crowded so I managed to get a few pictures. I was a really neat experience for DeSoto because he thought all the animals were real and kept eyeing them. After Cabela`s we headed down to the Summit Mall. DeSoto is a awesome walker these days and will be ready to go to High School with Emily or Kelsey soon! We had a great Christmas. DeSoto got some new bones & toys. I got some cute pictures of him with rapping paper all over him but I can`t find that memory card right now. So next post!

Christmas is Finally Close!!!

This weekend we went and saw Alvin & the Chipmunks it was a good movie. DeSoto was well behaved for the most part. When I got home I noticed something on DeSoto`s hip so I checked it out and it was gum! Thankfully is was not that much. I had to cut it out and DeSoto did not want it gone because he liked sitting there and licking. Maybe that is why he was better in the movies than usually! Ha Ha! Monday he went to school with me and that night we had our Christmas Desserts & Scrapbooking Class! I got one page down for DeSoto`s book that night but I was in a rush so it is not as nice as the others, but oh well. Good job Kelsey and Emily they did a great job putting it all together. This week has been pretty boring but I cannot wait till Christmas! It turns out we are not going to my Aunts house in California because she got really sick, so that is a bummer. But the good part is I get to spend Christmas with all my puppies! Since tomorrow we are not going to be doing much in school my mom is thinking about taking me out of school so we can go sledding! So I am happy about that!

The Holiday Season is Here!

So tonight we put up our Christmas Tree and decorated it. I was very pleased with DeSoto because he did not try and lunge at all the ornaments and lights on the tree. I can`t believe Christmas is less than two weeks away and we only have 7 more days of school until break. Wahoo!! It is hard to believe that DeSoto is already 5 months it seems like just yesterday I was driving down to Guide Dogs to pick him up. Now for a quick update DeSoto is allowed to go to school again. I am starting him out with 2-3 days a school a week for a while than we will work for all week. This weekend has been pretty boring for the most part. Saturday we went shopping at Kohl's for Christmas Presents and to just look. Sunday we went Christmas Tree cutting. Monday was DeSoto`s first day back to school after several months of being with my mom which I think helped! When DeSoto went with Dana DeSoto played with her dog Bear and I guess Bear got mad and left a little puncture in his mouth. So Claudia said we should take him to the vet to be safe, so that is what we did. Tuesday is when my mom took him in and they said if it does not heal in a week or so they are going to put him under and pop it. So he is on some medication right now. They said it is like a pimple. Today and tomorrow he is going to school. I am not planning on taking him Friday because it is our schools " Dress To Impress Dance" I am not planning on dressing up, well I am if you call jeans and a shirt dressed up. Snow

Today my family and I went Christmas Tree cutting. DeSoto and Dietrich had so much fun running in the snow! At first DeSoto was not sure but after a few minutes he loved it. Tonight my Grandma, Grandpa, my sister, DeSoto, and I are going to see my sister perform in High School Musical at the Children`s Museum. It was really good. (I saw it last week too) I am hoping DeSoto can go to school a few days this week since he is walking 90% of the time now. Which is less frustrating. So I better go finish laundry and other various things before school tomorrow. Dietrich Having A Blast!!

Everything is still the same as last week but I still feeled like posting it! Well last Thursday DeSoto was with Dana because my parents went to Arizona to pick up our new truck. then at the meeting me and Emily traded dogs until today. Suede is a lot different than DeSoto. She is a lot calmer in the house than DeSoto is. (that`s what I think) Suede actucally walks! Ha Ha! Suede went to school with me, out to dinner, and babysitting. It was nice to have a break from DeSoto and Emily`s family had a lot of fun with him. Tonight my Mom and I are going to go babysit Ryder a baby my mom used to watch. I do not know if DeSoto will come with us because they have dogs and I really do not know if they are friendly. So he will stay here with my dad and sisters if he can`t came. Also Saturday or Sunday we are going Christmas Tree Cutting. I can`t wait to see what DeSoto does in deep snow. I think he will love it! Well anyway here are some picures of DeSoto and Suede!

Today I was looking through the bag that I got when I picked him up and found this CD with pictures that his litter raisers took. He is the dog with the red collar and in other pictures the orange collar. So I had to share them with all of you!

As you can tell my dad is a little crazy about Christmas Lights!! It`s pretty sad that there are only 4 houses on my street that do Christmas Lights, of course our house has the most lights and decorations.Now that that is taken care of, lets do an update. Monday we had a meeting where Chappelle and Cordova got to see each other for the first since they were in formal training. Wednesday we went to go see August Rush which was awesome. Thursday was Thanksgiving, which was delicious! for Desert we went to my grandparents house and DeSoto was well behaved. Friday me and my mom went shopping for Christmas presents. DeSoto behaved himself and had no accidents. Saturday and Sunday I don`t recall doing anything fun. This coming weekend DeSoto is going to spend some time with Dana because my parents are going to Arizona to pick up a car we bought and she is going to help him with his walking issues. Which I hope will work! I will get him back on Monday at the meeting. Since my parents will not be back till Tuesday DeSoto gets to go to school. Yeah!!Well anyway, hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!!
